iVillage Canada Special Needs Parenting Panel.

This week I am participating on a Special Needs Parenting panel on iVillage Canada. Parenting and pregnancy author Ann Douglas is heading up the panel, along with blogger Lisa Thornbury, journalist Ijoema Ross, and myself as we share the joys, sorrows and essential advice on raising special kids.   1. I tried many many different diapers before I decided on these. I like them because (1) they are the only ones out of all the others that I tried that held everything in and were super-absorbant for nighttime and (2) fit my big baby better than their same size competitors. If you have a large baby, these fit well. My baby also used to poop right out of other diapers and these actually contain it!

  2. Natural parenting is said to be beneficial to the child in that it puts the parent in direct tune with the needs of the child and enables the child to learn to "speak for itself" in terms of what it needs.

    Oh, it's really interesting. I'm sure there are a lot of different possibilities to improve the life of young mothers using tech. It's already quite cool that we have radio nannies and so on, but I wish more. I've found some interesting idea in reviews, but they are still not everything I would like to get.
