For Your Eyes Only.

Lifting a 22-pound baby is a workout in itself!I've always been extremely private about my weight, but it's time to get over it. I'm going to do the unthinkable and tell you how much I weigh. But then I'll have to kill you.

I have a theory, and my theory goes like this: All women lie about their weight. And if they don't, they're skinny you-know-whats, so who really cares what they weigh anyway? The only person besides me who has ever really known how much I weigh is my doctor, and I only have to face him once a year. But here's the deal. If I tell you how much I weigh, you are never allowed to use it against me or for the purposes of a backhanded compliment. These rules apply whether you are my friend, foe, or family - by marriage or otherwise.

Don't you think that some people like to hold up their low weight number (as if it is a Nobel Peacce Prize) because they are so very insecure? It is perhaps the one thing they have to be proud of......I applaud your goal of liberating us all from the number phobes. Be healthy and strong, grasshopper. You are already beautiful.

  3. I'm so happy for you Kat ! Hey, I don't think you weigh that much. I weigh quite a bit more than that. Like 30lbs more. How tall are you ? I am 5'11" and want to weigh about what you started at. In a perfect world, perhaps I would weigh 150, but I don't think that is realistic for my big nordic frame..lol

Your menus look great ! You are inspiring me ! How long are you going to BF Max do you think ? All those people who say weight falls of you while you are BF LIED to me. My sister couldn't keep enough weight on while nursing but I don't seem to have the same affliction.

Anyway..great job and don't worry about those numbers. I would love to weigh 165 !

You rock for being so candid! And thanks for posting your menus as well!

Congrats on the 6.5lbs down - you're doing great.

I dragged my post-preggo ass to the gym (avec baby) today, for the first time. There's a gym in my condo...bubby lasted 30mins before freaking out, but it was better than nothing.

    thanks for being so inspiring!

I looked at the menu for Tuesday and thought, "awwww, I ate that with her!" and it made me miss you.

  6. Tina - I'm a shorty, only 5'4, so weighing this much is definitely putting a strain on me. I am going to breastfeed Max until he is a year old. He loves the boob, so getting him off it will likely be tough.

    J - I miss you too!

    Hey Kat,

Long time no talk to but I've been following your progress on MSN after I recognized your face from the ad.

Good luck and I know you'll kick ass.
