Just to provide some context, Elizabeth has known me since I was about 5 years old and I looked like this: Cameron charmed them and Max made them laugh with this antics. Max is still under the weather, though we're hoping he has finally turned the corner. He ate two pieces of toast and two rice krispie squares today. Poor kid. Scott (my Scott - not Chef Scott), cooked his speciality - steaks, and I attempted to cook roasted asparagus (overdone - boo!), salad (fresh and local - yeah!). Dessert was chocolate scones from Cobs with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries (strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry).
We were also spoiled with some very cool baby gifts for Cameron - the most useful is likely a pacifier that snaps shut when it hits the ground. How awesome is that? I can't tell you the number of times I have had to rinse pacifiers that Cameron tosses asunder. Also cute - a designer bib and huggabar protector to keep the germs away.
Exciting bunch that we are, Scott and Max have already gone to bed (worn out due to middle of the night antics from Max last night) and Cameron is snoozing in the papoose. I need to wake her up for a bit or she'll never go to sleep tonight! Until tomorrow...
