Dream a Little Dream of Dr.House?

I'm thinking it must be the fact that I haven't slept longer than about three hours straight in the last three months, or maybe it's the hormones surging through my body, but I am having the strangest dreams imaginable. I really should write them down the moment I wake up because I tend to forget them and they can be quite, er, ummm, yeah... They can be quite entertaining, or disturbing, depending on which side of the couch you are sitting on.

The most interesting dream as of late, was a series of "lusty" encounters with Hugh Laurie. In my dream, he was clearly the character of Dr.House, minus the cane and the crappy attitude. He isn't someone who I ever really thought about as being sexy, but clearly somewhere in my brain, he registered, because - YOWZA! Hawt, hawt dream I must say. Ladies, he did not disappoint.

Time for bed...I'm hoping some of the male cast members of ER show up.

  1. A friend of ours, herself extremely attractive, has it bad for Dr. House. Apparently the cane is a major source of attraction for her. Apparently there is certain percentage of the female population that find themselves attracted to men with physical disabilities. This is brought to light in the excellent film "Rollerball."

I’m not suggesting you fall into this category -:)

  2. Usually I just fall for men with accents. I know Hugh has a British accent in real life...perhaps there IS something to my dream.

  3. I actually had a dream that I did it with my husband last night. Imagine that... you know things are "off" in the old bedroom when that happens..lol

Ah, the joys of pregnancy !

  4. I am laughing so hard..."Ladies, he did not disappoint..." hahahahaha!

I had a strange sexual dream about my pastor once, and the next day at church, I couldn't even look at him.

Whom do you think is hotter, McDreamy, McSteamy or George?

  5. McSteamy all the way. But even better are the doctors on Private Practice. Who knew the guy from Wings would age so well?

  6. As a point of clarification, the movie I made reference to is actually "Murder Ball."

I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie "Waking Life" but it will really make you think about your dreams.

  7. Um, let's hear it for dirty dreams about your husband - when does THAT ever happen?!

Plus, I'm with you on the whole accent thing - what could possibly be sexier?

  8. I've had a massive crush on Hugh Laurie since his days on Blackadder. I think his sexiness lies in the fact that he is, in fact, as intelligent off-screen as he is on. He's the perfect combination of smart, funny and cranky. Not sure why cranky is attractive to me. Add it to the list of things to discuss with a therapist one day.

  9. How would you all respond if I blogged about a sexual fantasy about another woman? Yeah, that's what I thought.

(I actually think this is funny, but I need to capitalize on the rare opportunity to take the high ground.)

  10. Scott, if you're attracted to cranky, handicapped women, then you should capitalize on what an open-minded man you are and definately blog about it!

  11. Yes indeed - I am wondering about the cranky handicapped women he is dreaming off...I think there is a story of a strip club in Sudbury somewhere there.

  12. Scott, dude - You should totally blog about that stripper story. Every now and then I still find myself chuckling over it.
