Sleep Like a Baby.

Don't you wish you could sleep like this? Must be nice...to sleep peacefully, only to wake up to dine at your favourite restaurant, then fall back asleep. Too bad the chef at the restaurant has to fully wake up every few hours to feed you, and said chef has a much harder time falling back asleep than you do. To sleep like a baby...those were the days!

  1. Oh, for just one night of sleep like that.

  2. For real!! I feel like the walking wounded, or like I have sand in my brain. One day...there will be sleep. Like in 18 years when they move out of the house.

  3. What terrifies me is that in 6 years, when my kids have both achieved that magical age of 18, that they will turn to me and say, "Can we stay? Like, until we're 25 or so?"

Or worse - I get pregnant. Please, god, no.

  4. My mom had my little bro when I was 12. I didn't understand why she had just signed up for another 2 decades of no sleep!

  5. This sleeping like a baby can be a bit misleading. For example, as I was reading this entry, by 6 month old woke up and started screaming her foul brains out - completely unprovoked - now what's up with THAT?

  6. Ah yes, when they are asleep they look like little angels, but they can and will wake suddenly, and be really, really angry that there is not already a boob in their mouth. That's the life, ain't it?
